There’s a fragment of this video that could be reaaally useful about writing down how you feel about a task you can’t seem to do because of procrastinantion. It’s for those time when I have been postponing a tast for weeks or even months, and I know today I won’t be doing either because of X. Grab pen and paper and start to write exactly how you are feeling in regarding to that task. Full on journaling and at 4 or 5 sentences you can unblock the thing. It seems equal to those times you can’t solve some problem and then you speak at loud with someone and you answer yourself through the process of externalization.
- Write what the task you’re supposed to do is
- Start writing out what is the reason that you don’t want to do it
- What are you afraid of? What are you trying to avoid?
- Write until you have the sudden impulse of writing the todo list right now with discrete steps to finish that task.
